Avalon Dragon don't anger her

Well I finally gave in to things a few weeks ago when I stumbled upon an American Dragon: Jake Long messageboard. I drew my own character based on the season one art style. This is the Avalon Dragon, a female and one not to get angery. I do have a story behind who she is but I kind of want to keep it under wraps until I figure out if I have enough of an idea to possably write a fan fic about her. Yeah, I know, real weird for me to write a fan fic... well except to those who remember me from the days of my dragonriders... but then that was just little stories to adopt the dragons, writing stories with ongoing twists and turns hasn't happened for around eight or nine years... and that was a Sailor Moon fan fic of a fan fic.

Anyway, was trying out doing stone again because the original sketch I did I put her on a rocky ledge, obviously somebody pissed her off, probably by catching a friend of her's. This is probably my most favorite picture I've done of her so far because the anger is shown throughout the body, not just on the facial features.

I must confence that the horns/antlers were inspired by character Kirin, I just love his horns and couldn't help incorperating them into the Avalon Dragon, it was something I hadn't seen in many of the fan characters in the brief look I'd had of some of the avitars and signitures on the fan forum. No offence to people from said forum but a number of them only looked like different colored Jake Long's in dragon form; and a few being edited screen shots from the show that once again they mearly changed Jake's dragon form's coloring.

Back to Avalon though, she unlike a number of dragons in AD:JL has smooth, not scalely, skin with fur along her spine instead of ridges. Her colors are to honor my college and my favor collegic hockey team, but only a few know that
